As a volunteer translator on the TEDx Translators platform, I had the opportunity to subtitle a thought-provoking video about artificial intelligence from English to Arabic. This project required careful attention to detail, as I had to ensure that the translated subtitles conveyed the speaker’s message accurately while maintaining clarity and natural flow in Arabic. The process involved listening carefully to the speech, translating complex AI-related terminology into an accessible format, and synchronizing the subtitles with the video’s timing. Despite the challenges, I successfully completed the project within a few hours, contributing to making this valuable content accessible to a wider Arabic-speaking audience.
